| Abstract: | In this paper, we discuss fully discrete Galerkin methods for nonlinear system of coupled hyperbolic and parabolic equations arising in the thermoelastic proplems. L~2 error estimates are derived for Galerkin methods of fully discrete approximations. The estimates obtained are optimal in L~2 sense. |
