The SWOT Analysis on the Development of E-commerce in Railway Logistics Enterprise

By using the SWOT analysis,this paper makes systematical analysis on the strengths of railway logistics enterprise in transportation network,information network,economy,and business inheritance,etc.and the weaknesses of railway logistics enterprise such as the lower logistics information level,relatively rigid management system,too atomized logistics equipment and facilities,fairly single logistics function,poorer service consciousness,and less disciplinary talents,etc.,the opportunities of railway logistics enterprise such as the large logistics market demand,the support of government policy,the development of information technology,and the development of railway it self,etc.,and some threats for railway logistics enterprise such as potential competition,loose internal organization,and weakening of transportation advantages,etc.,providing the theoretical references for railway logistics enterprise to develop E-commerce.
