临高语“濒危”词语考察

临高语的“濒危”词语,绝大多数是一般词汇,而且基本上是单义词。从词性上看,大多数是名词性的,主要是物质文明方面的;动词性的也有一些,主要分布在习俗、医疗卫生和科举学校等方面;形容词一个都没有发现。其消亡原因是由于词语所代表的事物或概念已经消失,或很少出现,或改换了名称,消亡进程与说话人的年龄、居住环境和受教育程度等因素有关。

An Investigation of the Endangered Vocabulary in Lingao Dialect

The endangered vocabulary in Lingao dialect of China is mostly general monosemic words. Judging from their parts of speech, most of them are nouns denoting physical objects, some are verbs in the fields of customs, medicine and health, and none is adjective. Such extinction may be due to that the referents or concepts have faded away, or given way to new names. And the extinction is associated with the age, living environment and educational background of the speaker.
