摘    要:本文讨论一种用于总线式局部网的穿梭式虚令牌(SVT)访问规约.从数学上对各用户节点为获得虚令牌所需要的平均等待时间做了分析,并用GPSS 模拟结果对这种规约的时延——吞吐量性能与令牌总线规约,以及CSMA/CD 的性能做了比较.结果表明,SVT比其他两种规约具有更好的工作特性,但是它使网上各站因距离总线端点的远近不同而具有不同的时延.

Abstract:In this paper,a shuttled virtual token(SVT)access protocol used inLAN is discussed.The average waiting time required for the user nodes to get thevirtual token is analysed mathematically.The delay throughput performance ofthe SVT protocol is compared with that of the conventional token-bus as well asCSMA/CD access methods by the results of GPSS simulation.The results showthat the SVT protocol has better performance than the other two protocols,but itdiscriminates against the nodes located near both ends of the bus.
