摘    要:大田和盆栽实验的结果都表明:在多种多样的生境中,草本植物、灌木、蔬菜的竞争能力与其单播地上生物量之间并不呈正相关或负相关,即二者之间不存在固定的关系.类似地,以追求单位面积最大经济产量为目标的一年生籽实作物的生产中,一年生籽实作物的经济产量和竞争能力并无必然联系,而与其地上生物量和收获指数密切相关.因此,一年生籽实作物产量的提高,一方面可以通过剔除生长冗余削弱其竞争能力;另一方面能增强其竞争能力,同时提高地上生物量和收获指数.

Abstract:The experimental results of field experiment and pot experiment showed that under a variety of habitats, there is not a positive or negative relationship between relative competitive ability and aboveground bio- mass in monoculture for the herbs, shrubs, and vegetables, i.e. a particular relationship did not exsist between relative competitive ability and aboveground biomass in monoculture. Similarly, in the process of reproduction of annual crops aiming at maximizing productive performance per unit area, the seed yield of annual crops was not corelated with their relative competitive ability, nevertheless, the seed yield of annual crops is closely relevant to aboveground biomass and harvest index. Therefore, the improvement of seed yield of annual crops could decrease their relative competitve ability by curtailing growth redundancy, increase their relative competitive ability by simultaneously improving aboveground biomass and harvest index.
