应用伦理学的重要任务之一是通过对话商谈而达成道德共识,以便为立法和公共政策提供依据,但这不是应用伦理学惟一的任务.确立对话程序不是应用伦理学的任务.批判现实和时尚,改变共识是应用伦理学更重要的任务.应用伦理学不可能对各种不同的哲学保持中立.程序论者设定相对主义,但相对主义是自相矛盾的.

On the Criticizing of Applied Ethics

One role of applied ethics is to reach consensus moral opinions by communications to support laws and public policies. But applied ethics has its other roles. It is not the task of applied ethics to set up the procedure of communication. To criticize the reality and fashion is the more important task for applied ethics. And applied ethics cannot be neutral to different philosophies. Philosophers ,who think that the sole role of applied ethics is to get consensus moral opinions, presuppose relativism about morality, but relativism is self-defeating.
