辛亥南北议和中袁世凯处境的两难

辛亥南北议和，是当时多种社会力量共同的愿望。最后达成协议，也是诸多社会力量互相妥协的必然结果。议和成功不仅仅是革命党人推行妥协路线的结果，袁世凯在其中的妥协因素也不能忽视。无论赞成民主共和，还是让清帝退位，对袁世凯来说都不是易如反掌的事，一面对清王室没法交代，一面还得看帝国主义的脸色，处境两难。

The South-North peace negotiations during the 1911 Revolution,was the common wishes of the various social strengths.Reaching the final agreement was also the inevitable outcome,which many social strengths compromises each other.The argument and success was not only only revolutionary party the person promote to compromise route of result.Yuan Shi-kai's Compromising factor therein was of importance.Regardless approving the democracy republican still letting the Qing Emperor give up post of power wasn't all as easy as turning over hand matter to Yuan Shi-kai.On one hand,Yuan Shi-kai could not give an account to the Qing Royal House,on the other hand Yuan Shi-kai still had to look at the faces of the imperialists,Yuan Shi-kai was in dilemma.
