Combined Groups-A Form of Studying that Can''''t Be Neglected

Comprehensive English is a basic course of the English major in Teachers'Colleges. It includes: Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Translating. Teachers of this course are often at a loss when they find themselves confronted with such heavy tasks. Thus they occupy most, if not all, of the in - class time, and exert every effort to teach, still the result isn't satisfactory as expected. In this article I'll introduce a form of studying, Combined Groups, which will give full play to the subjective initiative of the students and make the classroom teaching of Comprehensive English more effective.
