| Abstract: | Summary Biological activity of vernoflexuoside (Vf) a new sesquiterpene lactone glucoside, isolated fromVernonia flexuosa Sims was investigated by means ofAllium test. Vf showed cytostatic activity and produced mitotic disturbances as well as symptoms of nuclear structure degeneration. |
