萨那蒙测量方法的扩展及应用

摘    要:传统萨那蒙法难以完成单根纤维不同厚度处的双折射测量,而单根纤维径向各层的双折射率测量就更困难,目前未见报道,本文运用二种方法,1)纤维柱体上直线干涉条纹径向移动法(简称径向移动法);2)纤维斜切面上弧线条纹轴向移动法(简称轴向移动法)实测了纤维横向不同厚度处的双折射值,以及更为重要的径向各层的双折射值。实验结果证明,萨那蒙法配以CCD成像系统可以通过径向移动法实测纤维横向不同厚度处的双折射值,并结合理论模型分析推测纤维径向双折射分布.而运用轴向移动法,能实测求得纤维径向各层的双折射值。显然这两种方法既具有萨那蒙法原有快速、方便、精确的特点,又同时解决了过去一些不可测问题。故是纤维大分子取向结构研究中的有效手段。

Abstract:It is difficult to measure birefringences of a fibre at different thickness, and is more difficult to measure that at every layer in radius direction. Two methods are adopted in this paper to measure the cross birefringence and birefringent distribution in radius direction. One is for measuring the displacement of straight interference fringes on fibre cylinder. The another, is for measuring the shift of arch fringes on fibre cut slope. The experimental results illustrated that Senarmont's method combining with image analysis could give out the cross birefringence by method one and deduct birefringent distribution at every layer. Meanwhile, by the second method, not only the birefringence at different thickness could be obtained, but also that at every layer could be found directly. It is obvious that the two methods both hold the characteristic of Senarmont's method itself and have solved the problem to obtain values which were unmeasurable in the past. Therefore, it is a kind of effective way in studying orientation structure of fibers.
