对悬浮聚合实验教学的改进

摘    要:为激发学生的实验兴趣,对经典的悬浮聚合实验进行改进。选用溶有七色颜料的苯乙烯为单体,过氧化苯甲酰为引发剂,聚乙烯醇为分散剂,二乙烯基苯为交联剂,通过悬浮聚合合成彩色聚苯乙烯微球,从产物外观上激发了学生的学习兴趣。另外,改进后的实验与经典悬浮聚合实验相比不会改变反应时间和实验成功率,改进的悬浮聚合作为高校实验教学的课程内容,适合本科教学。这种改进在很大程度上调动了学生做实验的积极性。

Improvement on the experimental teaching of suspension polymerization

Abstract:To stimulate students" interest in the experiment, the classical suspension polymerization experiment was improved. Color pigments dissolved in styrene as monomer, benzyl peroxide as initia- tor, polyvinyl alcohol as dispersing agent, divinylbenzene as crosslinking agent, colored polystyrene beads were synthesized by suspension polymerization and the appearance of product stimulated the students" interest in learning. In addition, compared with classical suspension polymerization experi- ments, the modified experiment does not change the reaction time and the success rate. As college ex- perimental teaching course content, the modified suspension polymerization is suitable for undergradu- ate teaching. This improvement arouse students" experimental enthusiasm to a large extent.
