Abstract:Applying constructivist theory to college English teaching can play an active role and have a far -reaching impact on the development and improvement of students' cooperative learning ability, language proficiency and innovative ability. This paper, guided by the constructivist teaching concepts and combined with the acsituation of college English teaching in Zhuang language areas of Northwest Guangxi, discusses the college English language teaching mode develop students' abilities of which is suitable to adopt in Zhuang language areas of Northwest Guangxi and helps language competence and innovation.
