The ontology of ancient poetry covers three standpoints： poetry expresses the writer＇s aspirations,poetry expresses the writer＇s emotions and poetry expresses the significance.In ancient China,not only the poetry expresing aspirations but also the poetry expresing emotions contains the significance.Aspiration,emotion and significance are the basic elements of the ontology of ancient poetry.The three propositions show that the ontology of ancient poetry is various.They also interpret the natural attributes of ancient poetry and construct the theoretical system of the ontology of ancient poetry.
