“一丝不挂”考源

＂一丝不挂＂在现代汉语中常用于形容赤身裸体,但这个意义相对晚出,《汉语大词典》在这一义项下,引用的例证是宋代杨万里的《清晓洪泽放闸》诗。其实,这一成语最早源于汉译佛经,原本形式为＂寸丝不挂＂,此外,还有＂一缕不挂＂、＂一丝不著＂、＂不挂一丝＂、＂不挂寸丝＂、＂不挂一缕＂等形式,由于类推机制的作用等原因,最终,确定为＂一丝不挂＂。

The Source of Yisibugua （一丝不挂）

The idiom of yisibugua（一丝不挂）is often used to describe the one who is naked in modern Chinese language.But this item derived relatively later than the others.In Chinese Dictionary（汉语大词典）,the first example behind this item is the poem Qing Xiao Hong Ze Fang Zha（《清晓洪泽放闸》）written by Yang Wanli（杨万里）in the Song Dynasty.Actually,the earliest form of this idiom derived from the translated Chinese Buddhist sutras,whose original form is cunsibugua（寸丝不挂）.In addition,this idiom also has the form of yilübugua（一缕不挂）,yisibuzhuo（一丝不著）,buguayisi（不挂一丝）,buguacunsi（不挂寸丝）,buguayilü（不挂一缕）,etc.By the analogy mechanism,finally,the form was established as yisibugua（一丝不挂）.
