高职院校英语教学中素质教育问题探究

基于在素质教育的宗旨是培养创新精神这一基本观点，分析了英语教学在我国教育体系中的作用和地位，指出当前英语教学中存着重应试教学轻应用能力培养的倾向，提出了英语能力训练、英美文化知识传授和受教育者人文精神培养三位一体的深化英语教学改革的建议，并结合实践论证了可行性。

Researches on Quality Education of English Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges

This article discusses the idea that the objective of quality education is to develop creativity. In the light of the function and importance of English teaching in China, the author points out that there has existed the tendency of laying greater emphasis on the examination of knowledge than on cultivation of the capacity of using the language. Therefore, as a reformative suggestion for English teaching in higher vocational colleges, the author puts forward ＂the three-in-one model＂ of language capacity training, culture teaching and the development of human spirit. The feasibility is demonstrated through the author＇s own teaching practice.
