Abstract:I-D time-dependent model of warm cumulus chemistry was established to clarify the effects of the dynamic and microphysical processes on the chemical process in the cumulus. The main features Of cumulus acidification and relative importance of sources of sulfate in the rainwater were studied. The results show that the main sources of wet deposit of sulfate include aqueous oxidation of SO_2, nucleaton scavenging and below-cloud impact of aerosol by raindrop. Especially for the cumulus with strong convection, the oxidation reaction of SO_2 in the rainwater plays an important role in the formation of sulfate related to the cumulus.
