歧义容忍度的调查及对英语教学的启迪

摘    要:通过歧义容忍度量表,本研究调查了非英语专业大学生的歧义容忍度,并对量表所测分数与学生期末成绩做了相关分析,表明学生的英语成绩与歧义容忍度存在显著负相关,并据此提出了对外语教学的一些启迪。

Abstract:The research surveys the ambiguity tolerance of non-English majors through the ambiguity tolerance measurement table and makes relative analysis of the scores obtained by the measurement table and students'achievements of the end of term.The result shows that students' English achievements are negatively related to the ambiguity tolerance.Based on this,the paper puts forward some sugges- tions about foreign language teaching.
