摘    要:本文叙述一种具有可变传输速率的硬盘驱动器脉冲检测电路。使用这种电路,可把磁盘记录面分成几个区,改变每个区的记录信号频率,从而保持各个分区中的磁化翻转密度基本相同。这种等密度记录方式,充分利用了磁头/盘的记录潜力,在维持现有磁头/盘的情况下,能大大提高磁盘驱动器的记录总容量。由于集成电路技术的迅速发展,这种方法在可行性及降低成本方面都有不少优点。

Abstract:In magnetic recording,by improving the head and media,including the use of the thin-film technique,perpendicular recording and magnetic-optical recording the total recording capacity can be increased greatly.Besides,we can also increase the total capacity by improving the circuit design. In this paper,a pulse detection circuit with variable data rate is described. Using this detection circuit,the recording surface is divided into several zones and the frequencies of the recorded signals in each zone is changed.Thus,the FCI in different zones remain constant.By this means,we can increase the recorded capacity appreciably.The method has a lot of advantages in realiza- bility and lowering costs,because the LSI technique develops very fast.
