| Abstract: | The cable arch structure is investigated using the non linear finite element method, the result was compared with those obtained from the linear finite element method. It turns out that powerful cable arch structure is a multiple statically indeterminate structure, and when part of chains of structure have failed the structure remains stable and the structure has no non linear effect obviously. |
