| Abstract: | Seki Takakazu(1642?-1708)was a famous mathematician in Japanese Edo period.As the founder of Wasan,the traditional Japanese mathematics,he made great contribution to its development.He was also the founder of the mathematic school of Guan.Seki Takakazu's life,contribution and the mathematic school of Guan he created is introduced and commented in this paper. |
