Abstract: | After sciatic nerve lesion by freezing, the length of the most rapidly regenerating fibres was significantly increased by i.p. injection of isaxonine (N-isopropyl-amino-2-pyrimidine orthophosphate) in the rat. A dose-effect relationship was demonstrated. Both sensory and motor function returned earlier in treated animals. |
