温泉新疆北鲵考察报告

新疆北鲵(R anodon sibir icus)是分布于我国新疆和哈萨克斯坦两国边境极狭窄区域的孑遗物种,是新疆产的唯一有尾两栖类,笔者于1989年重新发现后6],根据文献记载的地理分布区及所获得的分布线索9],对温泉县和霍城县山区进行多次考察。目前,只在温泉县发现四处相互孤立的栖息地,分别位于西天山的别珍套山和阿拉套山,生活在山谷涌泉小溪形成的湿地及高山湖泊浅水区,这些栖息地都处在牧区冬春草场和夏草场,海拔高度在2100—3200m,栖息地面积约80000m2,现种群数量不足3000尾。各栖息地的基本状况和该种的生物学特性也予以报导。

A Report on Xinjiang Randone Sibiricus in Wenquan

Xinjiang Ranodon Sibiricus,as the only amphibious species with a tail existing in Xinjiang,is a surviving species which is dispersed in a very narrow area at the border of China Xinjiang and Kazakhstan.After its rediscovery in 1989,the author has made several investigations in the mountainous areas in Wenquan County and Huocheng County according to the clues from the geographical distribution in literature.At present,there are only four isolated habitats discovered of the wet land formed by springs and streams in the valley,and of the shallow mountainous lake in Wenquan.They are located respectively in Biezhengtao Mountain and Alatoy Mountain of West Tianshan Mountains.These habitats lie in the winter and spring grassland and summer grassland at the altitude of 2100-3200 meters,covering an area of 8000 square meters.The number of the species is no more than 3000.
