| Abstract: | Sect. Marginatae of the genus Dryopteris contains about 26 species, distributes throughout eastern and southern Asia and Africa, of which 6 species are occurrence in Yunnan arid have been recorded in this paper. A key to 6 species is given as follows. 1. Fronds markedly dimorphic D. cochleata1. Fronds non dimorphic.2. Rhizome wide-creeping, fronds distant.3. Lamina angustilanceolate, pinnule pinnatipartite or pinnatisectD angustifrons3. Lamina widly triangular-lanceolate, pinnule pinnatilobate or pinnatifid. 4. Segment with serrate on the margin, spore with scraps on thesurface D. subimprissa4. Segment with crenate on the margin, spore with thorns on thesurface D. pteridiiformis2. Rhizome short-erect, fronds fasciculate.5. Lamina markedly smooth on the upper surface D. marginata5. Lamina with impressed veins on the upper surface D. caroli-hopei |
