基于大地回波仿真的回波模拟器设计实现

为了客观评估雷达高度表信号处理器及其系统性能,提出一种基于对大地回波仿真的雷达高度表大地回波模拟器设计方法。该方法通过对大地回波仿真获得模拟器所需的源数据。在模拟器的设计上,采用了大容量数据存储器和再配置FPGA逻辑控制的正交基带回波合成方法,使得回波模拟器具有结构简单、使用灵活等特点。给出了大地回波仿真以及模拟器设计的具体实施步骤,通过对实际回波模拟器测试验证了本设计方法的有效性。

Design and implementation of ground echo simulator for radar altimeter

To evaluate and test the performances of radar altimeter systems and signal processor objectively,a design method of the orthogonal base-band echo simulator for radar altimeter based on ground echo simulation is presented.This method provides source data for simulator by echo simulation.In order to reconstruct echo signal realistically and flexibly,bulk data memory and reconfigured FPGA devices are adopted.Specific process for ground echo simulation and simulator hardware implementation methods are also given.The echo simulator's testing and post-processing results are presented at last to prove the validity of this method.
