摘    要:利用基函数展开的方法结合区域分裂技术(DDM)和矢量有限元方法(EB-FEM)对三维细长腔体的电磁散射特性进行分析。通过对各子域内有限元方程组右端列向量进行基函数展开,并求得各基函数相应的解向量,从而求得各子域内的解空间。在子域迭代过程中,无需再通过求解线性方程组获得各子域内场分布,只需在本子域中的解空间内对解的基函数进行简单的线性组合即可。由于细长腔体子域交界面上棱边数较少,求解解向量的次数不多,可以有效减少计算时间,数据结果证明了此方法的高效性和精确性。

Abstract:Basis splitting technique combined with domain decomposition method(DDM) and edge-based finite element method(EB-FEM) is employed to analyze the electromagnetic(EM) scattering of the thin three-dimensional(3-D) open-ended cavity.Different from the traditional DDM algorithm, the excitation vector at the right hand of the FEM equations of each sub-domain is decomposed as a set of standard orthogonal basis,and corresponding solution vector of each basis is found.In the iteration process of each sub-domain,field distribution is established by simple vector summation of solution basis with no equation solving process.As a result,computation time is reduced dramatically in some instances for a few edges on the interfaces of neighboring sub-domain and then a few nonzero elements are generated in the excitation vector.Several numerical results are presented,which demonstrates that the proposed approach is accurate and efficient for the analysis of the EM scattering of the thin open-ended cavities.
