| Abstract: | Relative merits and connection of WiFi and WiMAX technologies are analyzed after introducing, and the integration of WiFi and WiMAX heterogeneous network solution is proposed. The handoff techniques are analyzed between heterogeneous networks, and the Media Independent Handover （MIH） is applied in WiFi and WiMAX heterogeneous networks. Thus the seamless connection is achieved |
