CVAAS自适应动态电源管理策略

摘    要:在嵌入式和便携式系统的低功耗设计中,动态电源管理(dynamic power management,DPM)是一个非常重要的技术.DPM本质上是一种"在线"问题,必须能够自适应于系统工作环境的变化.本文基于电池的基本特性,为TimeOut策略提出了一种新颖的自适应技术——CVAAS(critical voltage area adaptive skill).实验结果表明,CVAAS具有很强的稳定性,并且能够在延长电池可持续放电时间的同时维护系统的性能.

Abstract:Dynamic power management (DPM) is an important technique to reduce power consumption in embedded and portable systems. DPM policies are online problems in nature which must be adaptive to the changes of system working surroundings. In this paper,A novel CVAAS adaptive technique for TimeOut policy based on the characteristics of the battery is presented. The experimental results show that CVAAS has strong stability,capable of guaranteeing the performance of the system and extending the battery lifetime.
