| Abstract: | The fiber composite material is a new-type composite material that is widely developed at present in the civil engineering especially in the bridge engineering. Taking the glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP), carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) and aromatic fiber reinforced plastic (AFRP) as the representative materials, this paper introduces the main features of the composite materials and their application in the bridge engineering, and expounds their good developing prospects. |
