摘    要:为激发学生学习兴趣 ,提高英语教学效果 ,教师有必要从非语言和语言两方面着手来调节课堂气氛。非语言方面主要指的是师生之间所建立的相互适应的情感———人际关系 ,语言方面指的是教师富有幽默感和感染力的话语。二者相辅相承 ,共同活跃课堂气氛。举例说明了这两方面在教学实践中的作用并提出了使用中教师应注意的一些问题

Abstract:In order to arouse students’ interest in their English studies as well as to better teaching efficiency, it's necessary to improve class atmosphere from two aspects——non-vocal aspect and vocal one. The former one is mainly to set up an appropiate emotion-relation with students. The latter means applilation of humorous and vivid words. They complement each other to influence teaching. This article explains their functions in teaching by giving examples and raises some possible suggestions to attach teachers ’ allention.
