Abstract: | The homo polymer of acrylic acid and potassium acrylate as well as their copolymer were synthesized. FT IR spectroscopy was used to determine the two monomer molar ratios in the mixture of polyacrylic acid and polypotassium acrylate. The standard working curve was established to analyze the composition of copolymers. Reactivity ratios of monomers were evaluated by using FR, KT and YBR methods. The experimental results showed that the values for acrylic acid ( r 1) and potassium acrylate ( r 2) are r 1=0 798 and r 2=0 544, respectively. |
