| 摘 要： | 从整体论的观点出发,简要论述整体教育在外语教学中的重要性。整体教育与传统教育的区别在于前者强调以人为本的教育理念,而后者则一味注重知识的灌输。因此外语学习的整体观念是提高学习者在与社会、自然和谐的发展中学习和使用语言,真正通过有目的的学习达到自我教育,体现个人价值,实现以学习者为中心的现代外语教学目标。

| Abstract: | The paper is intended to emphasize the importance of the holistic education in the foreign language teaching through the contrastive studies between the traditional teaching and contemporary teaching.The purpose of the paper focuses on the cultivation of learner's self-realization and self-development as well as on the concept of learner-oriented education from the perspective of the holistic education in a state of harmony with society and nature. |
