| Abstract: | An improved method is proposed of parallel-borehole-controlled fracturing, by which the rockmass stress is calculted by measuring the changes of borehole stress. Described are the feature of the feature of the stress measurement and the principle of this method, and presented is a foundamental theory of rock stress determination by the measurement of borehole stress changes. |
