A Method of the Radar Target Recognition Based on the Low-Resolution Radar

A method of automatic radar target recognition based on the low-resolution radar is discussed,and the hardware supporting the method is introduced,including the principle of the radar target data acquisition system.After the theory of target approximate identification based on the low-resolution radar is studied,the feature extraction-methods of the radar target are proposed,then these methods are used to classify a big,medium or small target and get the exact number of an air fleet.From the experiment we can draw a conclusion that these methods are effective.The result of target approximate classification and identification of the number of an air fleet using this target recognition method is considerably fine. The method is very significant to improve the capability of the low-resolution radar.
