| Abstract: | In order to minimize the influence of "small" foundation usually used in model test and make the experimental results more accurate, an "enlarged" boundary method is presented in this paper by changing the modular of elasticity at the surrounding edges of the foundation in model. This method was used in 3-D photoelastic models for dams of certain hydroelectroplant and good results were obtained. |
