| Abstract: | On the basis of systematic analysis of actual movement state of vehicles passing through the signalized intersection, this paper focuses on the delay process and the corressponding stop problem and also presents the stop-rate calculating model of vehicles passing through the stopline under the unsaturated condition.The stopratemodel consists of two kinds of stops: complete stop and incomplete stop. The criterion of them is provided. The model also takes into account the effect of the length of the queue on stoprate. |
