| 摘 要： | 本文在阐明模糊概念的基础上,介绍了英语中模糊表达法的主要分类,同时阐述了英语中模糊语言的语用功能;认为恰当地使用模糊语言,不仅可使语言在交际中更为委婉、含蓄,而且可以增强语言的表达效果及灵活性。

| Abstract: | On the basis of expounding the definition of vagueness,this paper introduces the categories of vague expressions.Simultaneously the pragmatic functions of English language are elaborated in detail.The author thinks the proper use of vague language can not only make communication mild and implicit but also enhance the communicative effect and flexibility of language. |
