Nucleus Plus operation system is the real time operation system produced by Accelerated Technology company. It provides a real-time, preemptive, multitasking kernel designed for time-critical embedded applications. It uses microkernel mode to provide a good performance of operation. This article mainly introduces one of basic components of Nucleus Plus's microkernel-timer mechanism. Through intensive analyzing its operation theory, the authors add some resetting and modifying timer functions to enhance the control ability of timer component.
