浅谈近代吴语与官话动词重叠发展的不平衡性——《金瓶梅》《红楼梦》与《鼓掌绝尘》《型世言》动词重叠之比较

明清时期吴语与官话动词重叠的发展存在较大差异：在《金瓶梅》、《红楼梦》等明清北方作家创作的白话小说中,单音节重叠＂VV＂占优势,双音节重叠＂ABAB＂占优势,＂AB一AB＂极少,而在《鼓掌绝尘》、《型世言》等明清江浙籍作家编纂的白话作品中,单音节重叠＂V一V＂占优势,双音节重叠＂AABB＂占优势,＂AB一AB＂要比＂ABAB＂多。这似乎表明,在近代汉语中,吴语动词重叠的发展演变进程比官话要慢。

The Imbalance of Development of Verbs Reduplication in Modern Wu Dialect and Mandarin

There existed a great difference between the development of verb reduplication of Wu dialect and that of Mandarin during the Ming and Qing dynasties.In such vernacular novels as The Plum in a Golden Vase and A Dream of Red Mansion written by the northern writer in the periods,the monosyllable reduplicated form ＂VV＂ and the disyllable reduplicated form ＂ABAB＂ were dominant in number;while the ＂AB yi（one） AB＂ form is very few.In such vernacular novel as he Story Guzhang Juechen and Anecdotes Around Us created by the writers from Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces,the monosyllable reduplicated form ＂V yi V＂ and the disyllable reduplicated form ＂ABAB＂ had a greater percentage,and the ＂AB yi AB＂ form was more than the ＂ABAB＂ one.It seems that the development of the verb reduplication in Wu dialect is slower than that of Mandarin.
