对高校图书馆与系资料室分与合的思考

图书馆与系资料室是分是合，这在高校图书馆界已经争论了多年．高校图书馆与系资料室的集中管理和分散运作这两种模式各有利弊．集中管理消除了图书情报资料服务的封闭性，避免了人力、物力、财力的浪费，有利于人员的管理；但也有不能满足专业教学与科研需要，不利于深层次图书情报资源的开发等弊端．

A consideration on the question of the decentralization and the mergence of the college library and the department libraries

Whether the college library merges the department libraries or not has been discussed in the circle of the colleges and universities libraries for many years. The models according to which the department libraries are under a unified management or decentralized operation have their own advantages and disadvantages. The unified management of the department libraries under the college library cannot only remove the service closure, but also be beneficial to person management, while avoiding the waste of manpower, material resources and financial resources. Nevertheless, this management has two disadvantages: on the one hand, it is not able to meet the need of speciality teaching and science research; on the other hand, it is not advantageous deeply and highly to develop the books and information resources.
