Abstract:It is important to realize the importance of advertising business in the development of sci-tech journals and to recognize the advantages and disadvantages as well as to analyze the limitations of advertising business in sci-tech journals through summarizing and sharing the successful experience of Chinese orthopedic trauma journal in advertising business. Editorial office of sci-tech journals should take their own individual situation into consideration thus to be able to full play its advantages and avoid weaknesses, to dare to break the old rules and take the initiative in order to operate good stead advertising against the conditions of market economy.
