摘    要:总结了一个现场运行全光通信网的研究开发成果,给出了包括光分插复用器(OADM)和光交叉连接器(OXC)等网元的优化设计方案,研究了全光通信网控制与管理(NC&M)的设计和实现技术,评估了网络性能的测试结果.测试结果以及开通的网络多媒体业务稳定运行的实践表明,全光通信网技术是一种理想的城域骨干网传送技术.

Abstract:R&D achievements of a field-running all-optical network were summarized. Optimized design scheme of optical add-drop multiplexing (OADM) and optical cross-connect (OXC) were also presented. Network control & management (NC&M) issues including the design and implementation were studied. Various network performance metrics were evaluated. The performance test results as well as the fact of good running of the multi-media services show that all-optical network becomes one kind of ideal transport technologies for metropolitan backbone networks.
