| Abstract: | This paper is concerned with recent developments related to advanced infrared, millimeter-wave and microwave homing heads (seekers) for precision guidance tactical missiles and U.S. strategic Defense Initiative. Given herein is a review of recent progress in the SDI seeker technology projects and intelligent guidance seekers, e.g. long-wavelength Infrared imaging seekers. Development trends of advanced infrared, millimeter-wave and microwave seekers are also described. |
