Abstract:In order to more comprehensive analysis on long-term change trend of terrestrial water storage, the terrestrial water storage change in China continent has inverted by using Gravity Recovey and Climate Explorer(GRACE)time-variable gravity field data from April 2002 to June 2017, with comparison with the results of Global Land Data Assimilation System(GLDAS)hydrological model. At the same time, the abnormal changes of terrestrial water storage in China continent over the past 16 years were researched by deducting seasonal signals. The study results show that from 2002 to 2017 the northern part of China continent was dominated by decrease, while the southern part was dominated by increase. Among them, the south of Tibet Plateau, the north of Xijing and North China Plain showed the most significant decrease trend and this trend is accelerating.
