美国大学手语翻译专业发展给我们的启示

美国高校手语翻译专业已经有了30多年的历史,现有130多所大学开设手语翻译专业。我国高校手语翻译专业才刚刚起步,为了学习美国高校手语翻译专业发展经验,加快我国高校手语翻译专业发展的步伐,受国际聋人高等教育网络组织＂PEN＂项目的邀请与资助,2007年4月,笔者随中国聋人高等教育代表团赴美接受了为期一周的培训。本文通过对培训内容的整理与分析,借鉴美国大学手语翻译专业发展的基本经验,为我国高校发展手语翻译专业发展提供参考依据。
