| Abstract: | Following the research and application of AI, many uncertain inference models have been proposed in recent years, but most of them lack the theories or methods for handling the relativity and dependence among pieces of evidence. In this paper, the relativity of evidence (REs) has been defined and the probability theory has also been extended to handle REs more reasonably. The new method is then recommended to MYCIN's certainty factor model. By comparison, the new model is found to be more practical and accurate. |
