The Liuyang River,as one of the classical works about Hunan folk song creation,bears the weight of rich connotation of national culture and national spirits.In order to inherit the fine tradition and arouse the spirits of the age,in 1995,the arranger Deng Dongyuan created a song Sang Liuyang River which is rich in the spirits of the times.This article shows the unique artistic charm of the two songs by the comparative analysis between the Liuyang River and Sang Liuyang River again.It is mainly compared by the music performance means,local language tone and singing lasting appeal,theme thought and other aspects.It provides some references for our national vocal singing and creation.
