著名宰相李泌主要活跃于唐肃宗、代宗、德宗三朝，其时唐朝转衰，战乱频仍。李泌亲历了唐朝边疆的一系列事件，这些事件反映了三朝时期的政治、经济、文化等诸多方面的状况，李泌亲身参与的唐朝对边疆的决策，也反映了三朝皇帝经略边疆的观念。总体看来，三朝时期边疆政局动荡，中央政府急于平乱，然而政策上主动性不足；经济方面较为困顿，制定政策时存在着盲目的倾向；经略边疆地区的文化观念方面表现出礼与防并重，而随着局势的发展，也存在着无法坚持既有礼制的情况。

The Borderland Strategies in the Middle of the Tang Dynasty Reflected by the Famous Feudal Official Li Mi

The feudal minister Li Mi was famous in Tang Suzong, Daizong and Dezong periods when the wars broke out frequently and Tang Dynasty was in a decline. Li Mi experienced a series of events in the frontiers of Tang, which mirrored the political, economic, cultural, and many other aspects of the situation in those periods, and Li Mi participated in the decision-making on the border area of the three Tang emperors, which reflected the frontier management concept of the emperors. In brief, the political situation in the frontiers was volatile and the emperors were hasty in counterinsurgency, nevertheless the policies was passive; the economy was stuck, and a blind tendency existed in the course of making policies; the concept of the frontier management showed the both value of ritual and precaution, however, the violation of ritual appeared with the change of situation.
