| Abstract: | It's the first time to report the karyotype of Agkistrodon Snake The material is collected in Southern area of Qinling mountains and is identified as A halys brevicaudus It's found possess a diploid number of 36, 16 of them are macrochromosome, others are microchrosome All chromosome pairs are homomorphics except pair No 4 which is hetermorphic in female only |
