| 摘 要： | 英汉习语是英汉语言在使用过程中形成的独特的、固定的表达方式,最能体现英汉民族的文化特征。英汉习语有各自的特点及文化内涵,中西文化既有共同的群众性、思想性和艺术性,又有不同的民族性、地域性和思维方式。文化重合是局部的,文化上的冲突是常态的。分析文化上的重合与冲突可资英语语言教学和跨文化交际参考借鉴。
