| Abstract: | Finite element transfer matrix method is combined with finite element method in the analysis of rectangular plates with some minor irregularities such as openings, skew edges ect. The regular region is analysed by the finite clement translcr matrix method white the irregular one is analysed by the finite element method . Numerical examples show the good accuracy and elfieiency of presented method. |
